Shamir S. Ladhani is a retired professional engineer, senior business consultant, and Assistant Professor at University Canada West. As a former Vice President at ENMAX Power Corporation, Shamir led a high-performing, cross-disciplinary team of engineers, technologists, tradespeople, and administrative staff, fostering a culture of engagement and excellence. After retiring from engineering practice in 2014, he transitioned to a global speaking career, sharing insights on mindfulness-based approaches to personal and professional growth at events across Europe, Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

Today, Shamir continues to teach MBA-level courses at University Canada West and is a former course lead in Small Business Management and a current course lead in Graduate Practicum course. He is also a trusted advisor to CEOs and senior leaders. His deep experience in both technical and leadership roles enables him to offer valuable perspectives on scaling businesses and leading change.

Shamir holds a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and has served in multiple senior leadership roles, including Vice-President of Enmax Power Corporation and President of Panther Power Corporation
